Another original Chaise of the Week, handcrafted by our fantastic upholsterers, is this stunning modern chaise lounge shown as a right-handed chaise and upholstered in the beautiful Jane Churchill Skylon fabric by Colefax & Fowler. To complement the fabric, our client chose a silver-grey round tapered leg. Each chaise longue is lovingly handmade to order in our Yorkshire factory using hardwood frames and high-quality fillings.

This contemporary abstract design printed on super-soft velvet makes a strong statement. A combination of two different fibres in the pile means the print is absorbed irregularly, increasing the experimental and abstract nature of the design.

This particular client opted for contemporary medium oak splayed legs and an optional deep buttoned back and arm. Like every chaise longue we make, this piece has a solid hardwood frame and steel-sprung seat and is available in any fabric, including your own.

This weeks best Chaise of the Week is a Modern extra-large chaise lounge with a traditional twist. Our client used a Linwood Tresco fabric to combine that country garden feel but, with a more modern shaped chaise lounge, and the result looks stunning. Tresco, a traditional floral design has been expertly repainted in the Linwood studio and is based on an archival design. Complimenting the chaise is a set of hand polished walnut splayed legs, which like the frame are made from sustainably sourced hardwood.

The best Chaise of the Week #14 is this luxurious modern chaise lounge upholstered in Wemyss Denali dragonfly fabric. Our customer was looking for a modern statement piece for their home office but also required a fabric that would stand up to the daily grind of children and pets. This is where the Chaise Longue Co suggested a stain resistant fabric from Wemyss. With its striking colour palette and soft, luxurious feel, Denali Dragonfly suited the brief perfectly. Each of our chaise lounges is handcrafted individually using hardwood frames and sustainable materials where possible. You can choose either a left or right-handed chaise longue and also customise the studs, piping, button, and leg options, creating a truly unique piece of furniture.
