Depending on how busy our upholsterers are, and whether your chosen fabric is in stock we will usually ask customers to allow between three to six weeks to receive their furniture. Do we deliver on a Saturday?
We try to schedule all deliveries for Saturdays. We will email you a few weeks in advance with the date and a two hour timeslot so you won’t have wait in for a whole day. Will we take your chaise or sofa upstairs or to into a flat?
If you are on the UK mainland your furniture will be delivered to the room of your choice by our own dedicated, uniformed two man delivery teams. On arrival they will ask which room you would like your piece(s) placing and also will take away the packaging for recycling. Cancellations
The Company will only accept cancellations of orders within 7 days once it has been confirmed either in whole or in part. Notification in writing is required. As each piece of furniture is tailor-made to your individual specifications, the Company reserves the right once the furniture has been delivered and accepted by the customer, not to accept returns unless the furniture is faulty. All returned items will be inspected before a replacement is made or refund is actioned. The customer is liable for the return postage and packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights. All of our frames come with a 15 year warranty.
How should I clean my furniture?
Please check your fabric sample for cleaning and washing codes as each fabric holds its own unique properties depending on its composition.

A chaise longue is an upholstered chair on which you can lay back and recline allowing you to put your feet up. Unlike a daybed, which is manufactured to be used as both a sofa-like seat and a bed, a chaise lounge is not designed for sleeping but for lounging. The Merriam-Webster English dictionary describes a chaise longue as “a long reclining chair”. The Cambridge Dictionary describes one as “a long, low seat, with an arm at one side and usually a low back along half of its length, that a person can stretch out his or her legs on”
More recently the chaise longue has become known by, and mispronounced as chaise lounge in most English-speaking countries. A combination of “chair” in French and the verb “lounge” in English, became “chaise lounge”. Due to constant incorrect spelling either pronunciations are accepted as being correct.
Other spellings used include chez longue, chez lounge and shez long and chasis long.
From excavations of ancient Egyptian tombs, archaeologists believe the long chairs found there are the earliest historical examples of the chaise longue, dating back to around 3000BC. For the affluent, the frame would be constructed in wood and inlaid in either ivory or ebony veneer.
