We do not hold any stock items. Each piece is lovingly handcrafted to order in our East Yorkshire factory.
Customers can supply their own fabric for us to use on their furniture. Before sending your fabric in, please give our team a call or email to check on the specific suitability.
For clients who have specific measurements in mind we can build a one-off hardwood frame, handmade to your requirements for a small additional cost.
If unsure about whether the size of the piece fits the room space perfectly, we would suggest laying either a folded blanket down or paper cut-out down on the floor to give a better perspective.
When choosing a chaise longue customers usually require their piece to face towards a certain direction in the room the piece is going, whether it’s looking at a window with a great view, facing the television or sat in a bay window, choosing the correct hand-side is an important part of making the most out of your furniture. We describe the hand-side of a chaise longue as if you were looking at the piece - to make this a little easier, our logo is a left handed chaise longue.
Depending on how busy our upholsterers are, and whether your chosen fabric is in stock we will usually ask customers to allow between three to six weeks to receive their furniture. All of our handmade hardwood frames come with a 15 year quality guarantee.
We do provide a fabric protector which helps protect your piece against oil and water based stains which is applied by us, in our factory after manufacture. If you are very concerned about staining your shiny new chaise, we do offer fabrics with FibreGaurd© Stain Free Technology and aquaclean© Technology built into the manufacture process which offer a greater level of stain protection. Please contact our sales team for more information or free samples.
The Chaise Longue Co will usually try to schedule your delivery for a Saturday. We will send you’re an email a few weeks in advance with the date and a two hour timeslot so that you won’t have wait in for a whole day. We can arrange for your chaise longue, sofa or chair to be shipped worldwide, please contact our sales teams for information and pricing.
For deliveries to the UK mainland, your furniture will be delivered to the room of your choice by our own dedicated, uniformed two man delivery teams. On arrival they will ask which room you would like your piece(s) placing and also remove any packaging for recycling. If you have an old chaise, sofa, chair, headboard or ottoman that you wish to give a new lease of life too, please email us a picture with a few dimensions to [email protected] and we can provide a quotation.

For a small fee we can remove and dispose or recycle unwanted furniture. If your furniture is in a reasonable condition we recommend contacting a local charity shop such as Dove House who will collect them free of charge.
The Chaise Longue Co does not currently offer any finance options to its clients.
The Chaise Longue Company will accept cancellations of orders within 7 days once it has been confirmed either in whole or in part. Notification in writing is required.
As each piece of furniture is tailor-made to your individual specifications, The Chaise Longue Company reserves the right once the furniture has been delivered and accepted by the customer, not to accept returns unless the furniture is faulty. All returned items will be inspected before a replacement is made or refund is actioned. The customer is liable for the return postage and packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
